Anacortes' annual July 4th Extravaganza begins with a town photo at 10:00 am at 5th & Commercial, a parade at 11:00 am starting at 3rd & Commercial and a patriotic program at Causland Park. To top the day off there will be fireworks over Fidalgo Bay at dusk which is always fun. The forecast looks good for mild weather. Come enjoy the fun!

This very fun festival is for all dogs! Doggie goodie bags and bandanas will be given to the first 200 dogs. Event entry donation is $5.00 per dog. Contest entry donation is $5.00 per dog. Dog contests, dog demos, games and more.

Kick off the summer 2010 season with this popular family-oriented festival celebrating Anacortes' marine heritage. The festival is celebrating it's 21st year and features new and old boats, custom classic car show, Majestic Glass Corvette Club's all Corvette car show, radio-controlled boats, children's activities, regatta, marine swap meet, entertainment and a variety of commercial vendors and great food booths. Cap Sante Boat Haven. Admission is free and there is a gala dinner on Friday night, May 14th.
Waterfront Festival Kick-off Dinner - hosted by the Port of Anacortes and presented by the Economic Development Association of Skagit County and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce, this event launches the festival with a community gathering. Tickets $50/Person or $390/Table of 8 are available by calling EDASC at 360-336-6114.
