Douglas Realty & Development, LLC has been building investment homes for over 15 years in S.W. Florida. We have built approx. 3500 units during that time and have helped our investors through the entire process from building to renting to selling their homes once completed.

We have recently expanded our operations into southern Mississippi to help with the rebuilding process going on there due to the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is still in clean up and recovery mode following Katrina, this nation's largest natural disaster. Many people are not aware that this area is still in dire need of housing. As many as 35,000 families still remain in FEMA trailers and need to be relocated immediately. The Governor is calling for 100,000 new homes today and an additional 300,000 over the next five years!

I am dedicated to helping people obtain the American dream: a home of their own. My father, Arthur Luz, was a homebuilder in Massachusetts. He taught me that helping people get started in a home is a worthy endeavor. Even now, when I smell lumber, it brings me back to my fond childhood memories.

Today, following in my father's footsteps; I continue to find joy in helping people move into beautiful homes. As well as participating in the Katrina devastion re-building process. I am working diligently to help people go back home to Mississippi.
