This week the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS Education Committee held its first Activerain Seminar with Brad Andersohn. The response to the event was a resounding success and Nebraska has seen a fury of Activity and a spike in Activerain membership.
As a member of the Education Committee I helped organize the event. Any seminar presents challenges and I learned a great deal helping organize the event. I would like to thank Brad for the tremendous class and for a job well done!
Thanks Brad!

Almost everything has a web strategy component. I always to keep my "antenna up" for ways to apply a web strategy with two components. The first component is it has to have a long shelf life and the second component is cost effectiveness.
In my opinion, it is almost criminal if your company is located on a busy street and all you have is the company name on the sign. In addition to the name of the company you should incorporate the web address on the sign.
Here is an example of a business called Skatedaze that is doing a FANTASTIC job taking the name of the company and using it as a web strategy.
My kids love to go to Skatedaze and it doubles as an Alliance branch office. They play and I take advantage of the wireless network to work. For some reason, they like the "branch" office instead of our main office better.

Tonight, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to have dinner with Brad Andersohn, one of Activerain's community builders and several friends at Gorat's Steakhouse in Omaha, NE. Gorat's is an Omaha landmark and Warren Buffett's favorite steakhouse.
Brad is in town to conduct an Activerain and Social Media Marketing Seminar for the Omaha Area Board of Realtors Education Committee. Brad is an extremely busy guy and we appreciate his time for dinner. It is exciting to meet a "rock star" in the Activerain community.
It was neat to talk to Brad and to have him share some of his experiences first as a member of Activerain and his current role of a Activerain community builder. It was also neat to meet face to face several local bloggers and even one "lurker" and share some of their experiences on Activerain.
Thanks again, Brad!

From Left to Right: AJ Owen of NP Dodge, Robert Wiebusch of NP Dodge, Connie Watts of Prudential, Brad Andersohn, Troy Trumm of Alliance, David Matney of Alliance and Jo Ellen Keating of Prudential.
Thanks,
