One of my favorite restaurants in the Omaha area is Pepperjax Grill. If you are looking for a great steak sandwich at a resonable price Pepperjax is the place. Pepperjax is a locally owned restaurant with seven locations in the Omaha area and I understand they have also opened a store in Kansas.
The steak is cooked right in front of you as you place your order. In addition to their famous steak Phillies, Pepperjax offers several different wraps and salads. Even though I have been a frequent customer over the past several years I have never had anything but the steak Philly because it is so good!

Recently, Pam Ehrhart of the Omaha Police Department spoke at the Omaha Area Board of Realtors. Pam is a civilian crime prevention specialist and and has over 20 years experience working in the criminal justice system. She gave a very insightful talk about Realtor safety and safety in general.
Did you know ...
Situational awareness and safety is something that we should never take for granted. I would like to thank Pam again for her expertise and Wayne Plowman of Charleston Homes for helping organize the event.

It is that time of year again in the Omaha area where the temperature is starting to get a bit chilly. Many new homeowners in all the excitement will often forget to disconnect water hoses from the hose bib on house. Failing to do this will result if freezing pipes and water in the basement.
If you are selling your home and the home is vacant, be sure to have your home professionally winterized. Your furnace may working fine, but what if the it goes out? Trust me, it can happen and the result is not pretty. Have your home professionally winterized and be sure to disconnect the hose from the side of the house.
Take care,

Is your home safe enough for showings? Before you put your home on the market you should ensure that any issue that may present a safety hazard is addressed before putting your home on the market. If a known hazard is present and it was not addressed and someone gets hurt will your insurance still cover you?
Eventually, items such as missing railings and trip hazards will need to be taken care of in order to go FHA or VA. The best option is to simply take care of the hazards before placing the home on the market.
Thanks,
