What is the toughest part of my job as a Realtor?

I recently had a client ask me "What is the hardest part of my job as a Realtor?" I thought that was a great question. The toughest part of my job is telling my clients the truth and not just what they want to hear. Many times I have to tell sellers that their homes are worth thousands of dollars less or I may have to tell them that although their collection is nice and means a lot to them that they should really put it away. These conversations are hard to deliver and need to be done so delicately. However, if I did not deliver the truth then the reality is I would not be doing my due diligence. I know what needs to be done to sell a home and it is my job to share that information with clients. At the end of the day, my job is to sell the property for the most money possible, with the least hassles in the shortest amount of time.
