The median sold price for a single family house in the Ardsley School District in January, 2007 was $706,000 and the median sold price for a single family house in December, 2007 was $622,000. Hmmm.

The following is probably unique to New York State. We have an agency disclosure form that two years ago was rewritten because it was not very consumer friendly, meaning that it was really hard for buyers and sellers to try to understand what it meant and what it meant to them. So, in January 2007 New York State released a new Agency Disclosure Form with rewritten parts that was supposed to make it more readable. Alas, that was not the case. So, in January 2008 New York State released another version of the form which is effective today. There are some changes. One of the most notable is that if you are working with a designated agent they can advocate for you. So, here is the 2008 version.
Organic foods and farmers markets are very popular. During the months of May through October trhoughout Westchester County there are weekend farmers markets. In Hartsdale, which is located right in the middle of Westchester County is the Westchester Farm with locally grown vegetables. Now we have the virtual Farmers Market. Local foods from the Hudson Valley delivered to your home or office.
