Southlake is state recognized for their education. For almost a decade, Southlake’s Carroll Independent School District has received exemplary status recognition from the State of Texas, the largest school district in the state to do so. Carroll ISD has a zero percent drop out rate coupled with almost a 100 percent attendance rate. Several schools in the district, including Carroll High School, have been named National Blue-Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education.
