It's truly a great day to be at Keller Williams Charlottesville! It is so exciting to be here with you.

We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you. We have had the pleasure of meeting many of you over the past week. Thank you for welcoming us into your market center and into your lives. We have so much great work to do together and are excited about getting started. If we have not had a chance to meet you yet, please stop by our office and say "hey." Mastermind notes

Hello all!

I hope everyone survived the first storm of 2009 with little or no disruption to your business. In our last mastermind, we shared many different tools that may assist you in your business. Attached are a list of those tools and their respective websites. I am also attaching a second list ... this one of of REO sites that agents can register to gain REO business. This list was developed as part of our REO certification course. If you would like more information about the course, please let me know.

The next Mastermind is Friday, February 20th at 10 am. In this mastermind we will focus on Lead Conversion/Call Conversion.

I am also scheduling three seperate breakout groups for a more detailed (and hands-on) exploration of the technoliogy we discussed

  1. Web site design and optimization

  2. Social media and social networking (includiing blogging)

  3. On-line marketing of your listings

...excerpt from Christine Todd, CEO of NVAR... "If 2008 can be compared to a sickening roller coaster ride that went off the track, could 2009 be compared to a mighty sailboat caught in the "perfect storm"? Depending on how good the captain is, we don't know if we will end up at the bottom of the sea as the Andrea Gail did or ride out the storm, tattered but alive!

People who know me characterize me as an optimist. I agree with that! But, also I would sprinkle in "a large dose of reality" to that characterization! Trying to get a handle on the national real estate market is a mixed bag and difficult to do. Some regions of the nation will take years to absorb an overbuilt inventory of new homes. Some regions will see homes abandoned or foreclosed upon as the unemployment rate in those neighborhoods remains above 10 percent with no prospect of newly created jobs. And, other regions will have problems moving inventory as the population in that region continues to decline. So what can we expect in the Northern Virginia and metro-DC region?"
