About Me

I was a licensed New Jersey real estate agent for 10 years during the 1990's. In 2006, I moved from NJ to Maryland and decided to get back into real estate. My brother, who is also a licensed agent in MD, Washington DC and Virginia, and I had discussed the possibilities of working together, and in August 2006, we founded The Douge Team with Exit Realty Enterprises.

I believe in providing quality service, being mindful of the little things that matter to clients (follow-up, deadlines, etc). I want to be a presence in the community, volunteering and donating time and services. I also believe in promoting a good healthy lifestyle, doing my part for the good of our environment (planting trees/plants, recycling, etc), and having a good balance between family and work.

While my real estate office is located in Silver Spring MD, I have worked mostly in Baltimore and in Frederick. Frederick is a charming (and growing) city situated an hour west of Baltimore and an hour north of Washington DC. Downtown Frederick has tree-lined streets with numerous restaurants/cafes, bookstores, antique shops and scenic Baker Park. Minutes outside of downtown are quiet and family-oriented suburbs that are suitable for young and growing families.

I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and I also earned a mini-MBA Certificate from Rutgers University. In addition to real estate, I have been a Client Manager for an international organization called INROADS for 11 years. I have consulted with, and serviced, corporate clients by recruiting, advising and prescreening high school and college students for summer internship opportunities.

Some of my other interests include: family (!), soccer, fishing, photography, gardening and meeting new people.
