Metro Brokers TV: Hi. I am Scott Shields and we are down at the Colorado Convention Center for the 2009 Realtor Rally and I am joined here by Jon DeStefano, who you may know, especially who[Phonetic] live in Jefferson County, he is the former president of Jefferson County School District. Jon, thanks for coming down and talking with us today.

Jon DeStefano: Pleasure, my pleasure.

Metro Brokers TV: What do you think of the convention so far?

Jon DeStefano: I think it's great. I think it's so important for realtors, it just keeps you motivated and gives you really important information; it's just a good thing.

Metro Brokers TV: Now being such a person involved with the community, especially in Jefferson County and now you are a Metro Broker, what have you taken from your previous experience and brought it to Metro Brokers?

Jon DeStefano: Well, I think what I brought from my previous experience was that people are fun and it's fun working with people when you are working to do something that is really good for them and that they want and their homes are like their kids, you know, that for some of them, they are the kids.

Metro Brokers TV: And how has your time with Metro Brokers been so far? Why do you like... what's the best thing about being a part of Metro Brokers?

Jon DeStefano: Well, I love being with Metro Brokers. I think they are a great organization and they have great leadership and I feel that the support that you get is very important, especially for me, you know having been in... I have only been a realtor for a few years. I think coming into this was like coming into a family and I like working with Metro Broker people all over, not just in my specific company and branch, but all Metro Brokers agents. I think they are motivated similarly and are good people and I think the organization is a great organization.

Metro Brokers TV: Well, you heard it live on the Realtor Rally floor today from Jon DeStefano that Metro Brokers is the best and greatest organization. For more other videos, go to metrobrokerstv.com.

Kimberly McKinley of Metro Broker at The Women Council for Realtors

Metro Brokers TV: Hello. This is Robin Wood with Metro Brokers TV. We are on the floor today of the Colorado Convention Center with the Realtor Rally. I am here today with one of the leaders of Metro Brokers. This is Kimberly McKinley and she is president elect of....

Kimberly McKinley: The Women's Council for Realtors for the State of Colorado and I am the immediate past president of the Mile High Chapter.

Metro Brokers TV: Fantastic. Tell me a little bit about your business and your involvement with these committees.

Kimberly McKinley: They are great organizations. As a Metro Broker, which I had been since 2000, I actually benefited from not being in an independent company and it's just been wonderful and I have built my business with Women's Council as well, who has had many leaders in the past five years that have been Metro Brokers. So, Metro Brokers is a great company to be with and also produces leaders into these different organizations. Thank you.

Metro Brokers TV: Thank you so much to be reminded of that because we do know that that's true. Now, tell me where did you come from before you joined Metro Brokers?

Kimberly McKinley: I was on an... I was with an independent company in Parker, Colorado and the Metro Brokers office had closed down, down there and there wasn't one and our office went Metro Brokers, then I hooked up with Realty Oasis Systems and they opened another office in Parker. So, I am still there.

Metro Brokers TV: So, it's very convenient and I imagine your client base is extremely excited about that keeping you in the neighborhood.

Kimberly McKinley: Yeah, absolutely.

Metro Brokers TV: So, tell me, do you have any upcoming... what is the Women's Council doing right at the moment? Do you have any events?

Kimberly McKinley: Well, today, actually we have our state meeting because that's when we can get all the chapters from Colorado Springs and Fort Collins together and then we have monthly meetings. It's usually the first or second Thursday of the month at the Embassy Suites and you can go to wcrmilehigh.org to check out our events.

Metro Brokers TV: Fantastic. Well, Kimberly, thank you so much for your time. I do appreciate it and for being a leader for us in Metro Brokers.

Kimberly McKinley: Thank you.

Bob Truax of Metro Brokers ReAction Realty at the 2009 Realtor Rally

Metro Brokers TV: Hi, this is Robin Wood. I am on the floor of the Colorado Realtor Rally at the convention center. I am here today with Bob Truax. Very nice to meet you Bob.

Bob Truax: Nice meeting you.

Metro Brokers TV: So I want to find out how long have you been with Metro Brokers?

Bob Truax: Over 16 years.

Metro Brokers TV: 16 years.

Bob Truax: Yeah.

Metro Brokers TV: Now tell me a little bit about your organization.

Bob Truax: Well, I own ReAction Realty, which is... I started about 14 years ago and I have 20 broker associates that work under my license and I also own three Metro Broker offices. Our main office is in Westminster at 124th and Huron and then I have a second office in Berthoud, Colorado called Metro Brokers of Northern Colorado and then we own Metro Brokers of Niwot.

Metro Brokers TV: Fantastic. Well, you are keeping your name your name out there all over the place. Do you... what type of... what type of marketing are you finding that your associates are doing with our Metro Brokers online and our Metro Brokers contracts?

Bob Truax: Well, the Metro Brokers online definitely is working and we are getting leads, warm leads we call them [laughs] and the agents in the office are working those as well as their other websites, which are linked and working well. As far as the contracts, we... almost everyone in the office utilizes the CTM contracts because they are writable and e-mailable and save so much paper and that's what we are all about.

Metro Brokers TV: Excellent. So, ReAction Realty, how did you come up with that name?

Bob Truax: I... the name that I wanted to use was taken [laughs] when I went down to record my license and my company and so I made three attempts and ReAction Realty worked. So, that became the name of the company and everyone likes it. So, [Voice Cross Over]

Metro Brokers TV: Fantastic and it's memorable. ReAction Realty. So, three different locations.

Bob Truax: Yes, the Westminster at 124th and Huron and we are called Metro Brokers Front Range Professionals and our motto is "Our professional will move you."

Metro Brokers TV: Fantastic. I like it. Thank you so much today Bob for joining us and good luck with your ReAction Realty. Thank you too for joining us here. For more information about Metro Brokers, please join us at metrobrokerstv.com.

Brad Smith switches to Metro Brokers

Metro Brokers TV: Hello. My name is Robin Wood. I am here on the floor of the Colorado Realtor Rally. Today, I am talking to Brad Smith. Brad, tell me a little about your company.

Brad Smith: Well, I just switched over to Metro Brokers. I was working at RE/MAX and I am actually working under Kirby Smith in the Inglewood office and lot of positive... lot of positives going on and lot of things happening. So, just great to be working there.

Metro Brokers TV: So, tell me two reasons why you came to Metro Brokers from RE/MAX.

Brad Smith: Well, obviously, the main reason is Metro Brokers has a lot to offer as far as technology and services go and as far as the online website, just a tremendous website to use as far as you know reaching out and having another website to reach out and touch people.

Metro Brokers TV: Exactly. I use that myself. Tell me your second reason.

Brad Smith: Obviously the second reason is high value. I mean you get to be yourself, you know, low cost, high value, and you know very low overhead.

Metro Brokers TV: Exactly and well, the exposure is so, so good. I mean I don't know about you, but I always see a stop sign in my neighborhood.

Brad Smith: [laughs] Well, I know it is kind of cheesy, but kind of the model I have been going is don't miss the stop sign. So, [laughter]

Metro Brokers TV: Well, Brad, congratulations. Thank you for joining us. I do appreciate you taking time to talk to us. Anything else?

Brad Smith: That's it. Thanks for having me.

Metro Brokers TV: Thank you. Again, this is Robin Wood on the floor of the convention, Colorado Convention Realtor Rally and for more interviews, more information on Brad, please join us at Metro Brokers TV.

Metro Brokers Sam DeStefano sees alot of brokers changing to the Metro Brokers Brand

Metro Brokers TV: Hi. I am Scott Shields, marketing and events specialist for Metro Brokers and I am joined here today by Sammy DeStefano down at the 2009 Realtor Rally at the Colorado Convention Center. Sammy, thanks for taking time out with us today.

Sam DeStefano: You are welcome. You are welcome. It's good to be here.

Metro Brokers TV: Now, how long have you been with Metro Brokers?

Sam DeStefano: Probably about three-and-a-half years now.

Metro Brokers TV: And your experience so far?

Sam DeStefano: It has been terrific. It's... taking the responsibility to be our own brokers and own our own companies has been a pretty incredible experience. My first three years in the business, I had such high overhead because of the fees, desk fees I had to pay that it was just... it was incredible change just financially. My first $20000 I made or even I guess the first $40000 I made, I had to give 20% percent of my commissions to the company I was with and so, it's nice to know that when I am working now, that I am getting paid for my work and earning my commissions and so I think Metro Brokers has probably also helped me step it up as a realtor and become more independent and responsible for my actions and has made me a better realtor for my clients.

Metro Brokers TV: So, to wrap it up, it's safe to say first of all Metro Brokers is putting more money back in your pocket and it is also giving you the tools that you need as a realtor to be a professional realtor in the state of Colorado, correct?

Sam DeStefano: Yeah, I would say so. It's top-notch and I see it as the future of the industry to be honest and I think it has been coming, but it's starting to happen right now for sure. I think you are going to see a lot of these people switching over to companies like Metro Brokers.

Metro Brokers TV: Well, thank you for coming down and you heard it from Sammy himself. Metro Brokers is the future of the Colorado industry for real estate.
