I MET THE OWNERS OF THIS RESTAURANT A FEW MONTHS BEFORE THEY OPENED THEIR FISH AND CHIPS RESTAURANT. IT'S AN AUTHENTIC IRISH FISH AND CHIPS. (OR ENGLISH IF YOU PREFER) THE ATMOSPHERE IS FRIENDLY AND LOUD. BE PREPARED TO WAIT FOR THE WONDERFUL AND INEXPENSIVE FOOD. I WAS THERE LAST NIGHT WITH SOME OLD CHUMS, AND IT WAS FANTASTIC. IT'S JUST ONE OF THE REASONS I LOVE NE MPLS.

I had to drive all the way to Brainard Minnesota for a fight at the National Guard Armory, and after that, win or lost, the daughter had an all day Volley Ball Tournament in Menominee Wisconsin!! What a night!! But it was worth it. I had the luxury of good time spent with my 17 year old daughter for driving and watching her win again in in the ring. Annie is now 3-0 in the ring. Her VB team didn't do as well on Sunday however. But they did come in 2nd. Here's some pictures of the fight in Brainard. My daughter is in the Gold trunks. She is coached by two of the best in the business, Rachel Schley and her boyfriend Jacque, who also trains pro fighters.

This last picture is actually before the fight, with Rachel warming Annie up.
Annie fights out of the Believer's Gym in Forest lake,
and I workout and spar at Upper Cut Gym in N.E. Mpls, MN.
I am, and always have been, amazed at the number of Real Estate agents who put their own interests and house payments above the interests of their clients. Now, I am not trying to sound like a Saint here, but that attitude of some taints the whole profession for the rest of us, and it is very shorthsighted, I think.
What customer will ever come back, who's been "maxed" by their agent years later to get that kind of treatment again? I am always humbled when people come out of the past, and want to work with me again. I work very hard for that person!
I happen to believe that if you treat people like you would want to be treated, or better yet, TREAT THEM AS THEY WANT TO BE TREATED, it pays in more referrals, more business, and more income. Plus, it's just a better way to deal with people.
Think about this...How many times do you go to a quick oil change franchise, and then get "upsold" over and over again for 10 minutes? Do you like that? I know I don't. It really bugs me. I can't imagine telling an agent what I am willing to spend, and then spend the next meetings looking at houses that are more than I wanted to spend. YCH! I just don't like it.
I just thought I would vent during this cold winter day in Minnesota, nursing a terrible cold, and only being energetic enough to pound the key board.
Let me know what you think?
