We've had the experience over the years of dealing with all types of real estate agencies and agents -- the best of the best, the worst of the worst; the kind who are interested in qualifying clients as high as possible and only showing us property in the highest range; the type who list and then vanish; ones who are almost impossible to reach and rarely return phone calls and email; some who hear what you're saying and respond to that, rather than high-pressure selling of things we're not interested in.

Our experience with this company, and with Scott Schuetter in particular, ranks among the best. We were house-hunting three states away, in an area neither of us was familiar with, during an incredibly stressful time. We "found" Champion and Scott while looking at online listings. The first time we spoke, we felt comfortable. Once we met, we were confident about our choice to retain Scott for our transaction. Our confidence was well-placed.

If Scott wasn't able to answer his phone when we called, he ALWAYS returned our calls within the hour, most often within minutes. If he didn't have an answer to one of our questions, he'd find it and have the answer back to us the same day. He was honest about our choices, since we were moving from a very different economic environment, and showed us a variety of homes in different areas, in a wide price range, so we could get a feel for our new area. Once we settled on what we were comfortable with, Scott showed us numerous homes in exactly the style, area and price range we requested. It had to be exhausting, but he was always cheerful, positive and upbeat, and always had a package of information for us on every home we were going to see. If we thought of something on one of our several trips to Annapolis that we'd forgotten to ask for before we left, Scott had already considered it and had the information ready for us when we arrived.

When our stress got the better of us and we overreacted to what were minor, typical glitches in any home buying transaction, Scott handled the situation(s) with impeccable professionalism, and his unwavering positive attitude and optimism. If there was a problem, his response always came with a solution. Nothing fell through the cracks, and if something started to slip, Scott, not one of us, was the one to catch it and make sure it was taken care of. It was easy to work with Scott, because his attention to detail and constant communication with us enabled us to focus on the many other issues that we were handling during this home-buying experience.

There are a precious few agents we would choose to handle our real estate transactions in this area the future, but Scott Schuetter is definitely at the top of that list.

I had meant to send you a nice thank you card to let you know what a wonderful experience we had going through the process of finding and buying the perfect place on the bay, but I better send you an email as that will get to you quicker.

You really listened to us and heard and understood exactly what it was that we were looking for, you quickly located the ideal properties for us to view and didn't waste our time taking us to places that were outside our price range or outside of what we were looking for.
