About Me:

Hi! My name is Marilyn Harrell.

I have enjoyed being a realtor for Century21 Smith-Miller, Inc. since 2004. We have four offices to serve our area. I work primarily in the Wixom Lake office almost to the Midland County line on M-30 (by Stryker's Marina). I also work the main office in Gladwin. Our other offices are located in Sugar Springs and White Star. I am very familiar with those areas and list and show houses there as well. We are members of the Clare Gladwin Board of Realtors.

Since becoming a realtor, I have learned more about the area I live, work and play!

I do believe that we should take time out of our busy working lives to enjoy ourselves, that includes play! I am pretty good at horse shoes and darts. I also play in the garden alot! Even though it messes up my fingernails. One day, I'm going to become a "boater"! They have so much fun! Pontoon Alley is a popular hang out in the water on Wixom Lake. You can only get there by boat. The water is shallow with a sand bottom and you just sun tan or burn, you can drink (remember your DD, even on the boat) your favorite beverages.

Attended CMU taking classes in Business Administation, also earned Associate Degrees from MMCC in Computer Information Systems and General Technology.

Previous job experience includes substitute teaching for two years. This was a very challenging, yet mostly fun job. Never a dull day! One day you're wiping noses and tying shoes for kindergarteners, the next day you're counting heads in the high school gym, and finding the escapees hiding in the locker room. My favorite group of students was 5'th - 8'th grade. That could have been because that's about the age of my own children during the time I substitute taught.

Also have bookkeeping, secretarial, receptionist, scheduling and payroll accounting experience with a small business for approximately 10 years.

I love meeting people. In real estate, I get to work with both the young and the old and all those in between. I have met some of the nicest people in the world. I do not use high pressure tactics, I'm easy going and will work hard to help you meet your needs, whether you're buying or selling.
