Well this year, I had very little time on the computer or my phone for that matter! My daughter consumed my phone and thank god for the unlimited texting!!
Mom and I cooked: Turkey (of course), green beans, deviled eggs, potato salad, oven roasted potatoes, squash casserole, banana pudding, sweet potato pie, sweet and regular dressing and rolls. Traditional?
My family was at my house:Brother, Mom, two children, nephew & finacee. Plus my hair dresser and heating and air person. 9 total. Had to put the cat and all her accessories in my room cause some people have allergies.
After Eating, at least once for most of us, we went to Hollywild. It was different this year. Not only do you look at the lights, hear the music and drive through a field full of reindeer and large birds but now they have a walking area. My daughter had to go to the bathroom BAD and I had no coat. Well we asked two people where the bathrooms were, near the large blow up after the arch path. Well the arch path went on for 30 minutes thanks to a white SUV driving 2 miles per hour with 50 of us backed up behind them! When we finally reached the walking area, we headed in after parking the car! Past the gate, to the right, past a bon fire and there they were! Port-a-potties!! This was one time my precious 13 year old did NOT complain about the port-a-potties! They were dark, why don't they have lights, and smelly but we were thankful to have them!!
After using the facilities we noticed that all The large animals are there now to feed and view like goats and probably the elephant and cows but to be perfectly honest I was too cold to look!
The cost to enter Hollywild is $5 per person PLUS they take donations. The animals are rescued and cared for by Hollywild. Hollywild is located in Lyman SC. This is taken directly from their website:

Something cool that Xerox is doing
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.
I did mine. Start at the above link or http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1280.html THIS ONE! You can pick the card, the verse and they do all the work.
