Hi friends I would like to introduce myself, my name is Michael Saya. My wife and I own Estate & Homes Realty. We have purchased a condo at 210 Trade Street and have sold 5 units total. I felt I had to start a blog for the 210 Trade folks that made an investment in Uptown Charlotte. This will be a place where we can leave comments and try to find out why the developers have not contacted us as to what the status is regarding the 210 Trade condos. We believe that this one project along with the Epi-Centre was on of the best projects going in Up-Town Charlotte, (Location, Location, Location) It truly was an exciting project.

When we first heard about the delay, some people really had plans on moving in on completion and yet others did not really mind so much about the delay because of this major market shift going on. They figured well now's not a great time to be dealing with getting a mortgage especially at this time.

I think with all government bail outs going on, we have to take a stand in these times to rethink our Strategies

and break out with innovative idea. The Developer Flaherty & Collins should take a good look at coming up with partnerships or other ideas to complete this project. Well leave any comments and concerns. Thanks Michael

With the way the real estate market has changed, you really have to ask yourself can I go into the market place and make a good judgment call on what to pay for a house. Especially when your not from the region or state. The one thing I hearis, oh I'll save money if I don't use a Realtor. The fact is that is far from the truth. Realtors have the right tools to get the job done right. I had a buyer come in for a Easter weekend on time and on Easter day the found a FISBO and put an offer in and really over paid for the home. Well I guest there goes any equity. Folks find a Realtor specialist and let them do the job right, guide you through this important desicion.

Hi My name is Michael Saya and I'm originally from the Upstate New York area "Syracuse" for 45 wonderful years and the way I see it got the call. It was like North Carolina was ring a bell "Come one come all" this was back in 2000. Now I started out in the Real Estate business when I was 17 years old. I started out buying houses it was wild to get started that early in life. I was still in high school when I bought my first house. I took up Drafting as one of my classes at Henninger High school and the teacher let me work on my own house it was so cool. From there I just kept buying more homes one, two and up to 5 family units. Through all this I became a General Contractor, specializinging in kitchens and baths as well as additions and commercial installations. I became specialized in understanding the foundational structures for the proper way a home should be built and my eye in viewing home in the real estate world comes in handy. I see things that others don't. Great advantage for buyers and sellers. While being in the construction business and buying and selling homes. I came across a unique idea I had a big truck and started a business called RID-O-VIT, "Don't want it? Don't need it? Get Rid of it. It cam in handy for our Buyers and Sellers if they wanted to get rid of the clutter and junk in the garage or wanted to move some furniture. Well little to say it turn out to be a big business with over 120 dumpsters and a bunch of trucks. I had that company for 10 years and sold it for a great profit in 2000 and moved to Charlotte North Carolina. We thought we died and went to heaven.
