Maplewood Real Estate saw a decrease in Average Sold Price of 13%, a decrease of 2% in Volume of Homes Sold and a decrease of 4 days for Average Days on Market over 2006 (probably due to sellers being more realistic with pricing towards the end of 2007):

While the decrease in the number of homes sold in Livingston, NJ last year was also eleven percent, housing prices were up and Days on Market were down nearly 15%.
Buyers saw the value in Livingston, NJ and were willing to pay for it...thus keeping housing prices strong.
