I sold my home in the woods and recently and moved back into a rental property we've owned for sometime now. So now I'm trying to readjust to subdivision style living and the whole neighbor thing...which could take awhile. I find it heard to believe so many people would own dogs that do nothing but bark. Apparently a lot of folks do because the house behind me breeds Dachshunds and the guy next to me has at least 2 Pit Bulls and 2 ankle bitters.

I have a dog. One dog and he rarely barks. As a matter of fact many times I've thought about tying a cowbell around his neck to make sure he's alive.
So to sum it all up...the two back yards closest to me contain at least 6 dogs in a piece of land that totals less than 1/4 of an acre. Amazing observation! The poor pit bulls spend their entire existence in that small, grassless privacy fenced area, never walked and from what I can tell never played with or petted. I guess I would bark too.
I guess there's a bright side to everything though. A silver lining so to speak.

At least I don't have to worry about stray cats.
Come to think of it my last neighbor had 19 of them.

Watermill offers a great location just outside of the Oakleaf Plantation area without the high association dues and CDD fees. It's close to the new Oakleaf Towncenter, library and schools with easy access to Interstate 295 and just minutes from Naval Air Station Jacksonville and Cecil Field Commerce Center. Homeowner Association dues are $496 per year and include amenities such as playgrounds and pool. Jacksonville offers many wonderful communities but many of the areas BEST BUYS can be found here.
