Davenport IA real estate has a history of working around the seasons as well as the holidays. Davenport Iowa is located adjacent to Bettendorf, and across the Mississippi River to Moline and Rock Island Illinois.
Our local Realtor association is the Quad Cities Association of Realtors. Their membership is somewhere under 1,000 strong. Davenport Real Estate has a moderate but consistant growth rate. Unlike the larger Realtor association most of the Realtors pretty much know each other. This is a good feeling making it easier to do business.

The Quad Cities is a wonderful place to live. We are in Iowa and Illinois right along the Mississippi River. The beauty of the four seasons as well as the wildlife. Everything grows out here.
The Quad Cities are a make up of Davenport and Bettendorf on the Iowa side and Rock Island and Moline in Illinois. People call the Quad Cities the biggest collection of small towns in the Mid-West. I say this because the people are genuine. They will say high to you while passing you on the street. They are not afraid the strike up a conversation or just make someone feel welcome.
The Quad Cities Real Estate Market is not reflective of the larger more aggressive markets such as Las Vegas, or Los Angeles. I have worked thoughs markets. They go up and down like a YO-YO. The Quad Cities market does not move like that. It is a more conservative market that has steadily moved up in the last decade.
The Realtor's out here are very tough. The know there stuff. I grew up in the Quad City Area, moved away in 1993 and came back in 2006. When I came back I had to learn all over again about Wells, Septic Systems, Termite Inspections as well as a whole new way of doing business.
I learned most of this information from other fellow Realtors in the Quad Cities. I do not know of this would of happened any where else. I think this exemplifies the makeup of the people who liive in the Quad City Area
