New home communities in North Jacksonville
We have many new home communities in the North Jacksonville FL area featured on our main website, www.firstcoastre.com. North Jacksonville is one of the fastest growing areas in Florida for several important reasons. First, the new Jaxport will be bringing in literally tens of thousands of new jobs to the area over the next five years or so. This is very important to the areas growth, and is slated to happen regardless of the currently economic cycle. Second, land costs in North Jacksonville are typically much less than the rest of Jacksonville, especially East of the St. Johns River. This leads to lower home prices in general than many other parts of Northeast Florida.
Lexington Park is a community located off of Pecan Park Rd. just a couple miles away from Jacksonville International Airport as well as the new River City Shopping Mall, and is being built out by Richmond American Homes and Lennar Homes. Just around the corner is North Creek, a community of just over 500 homes being finished off by Standard Pacific Homes located just across the street from First Coast High School. Off of Alta Drive there is Victoria Lakes as well as Eagles Hammock, both of these communities are much closer to the new Jaxport, as well as interstate 9A, and are well developed. Another new home community in North Jacksonville is Tidewater. Tidewater is a custom home community built out by ICI homes, offering large homesites as well as a navigable creek for the canoeing enthusiest.
