"Mike - I was worried about how Mom and Dad would handle the move to the new house, but they did great and things went well. Daddy caught the flu on Friday and was stuck in bed all Saturday and seemed to be feeling better Sunday morn. He didn't have the strength to get to the table, so I was feeding him his meals in bed. After returning from some errands, I found him slumped over in bed around 9:30. He wasn't breathing, so I knew he had gone home to be with the Lord, but Dad enjoyed his 6 days here, and I know Mom is glad we are together here. Thank God, and thank you, Mike, for helping us prepare for this turn of events. Mom is more at peace because of our new home - and our ability to be under the same roof. In retrospect, we really feel Dad was just waiting for you to show up to sell their home in order for Mom to feel safe with us all living together before Dad went home.
