NYSUT - Defensive Driving Course

New York state United Teachers (NYSUT) is sponsoring a Defensive Driving Course for members and the BCC Community who drive. The course will be offered at Bronx Community College and it would be held on Saturday, March 08, 2008 from 9:00 A.M-4: 00 P.M. in CPH 205.
The cost to attend the program is $25.00 per person. These courses are generally priced anywhere from $35.00 to $70.00.
Course completion results in a reduction in the base rate of auto liability and collision insurance premiums of approximately 10% each year for three years. This reduction applies to vehicles principally operated by the motorist who completes the course. The insurance provider will apply the reduction if the course is completed 20 days before or after premium renewal; otherwise, it will apply at the next renewal.
Course completion also results in a reduction of up to four points on your driving record.
Registration will be handled on a first come, first serve bases. The course can accommodate a minium of 25 participants and a maximum of 40 participants. Please return the attached registration form to Rudolph Arroyo, GT 201. The deadline for registration for Saturday is March 01.
