If you enjoy watching Earnest Graham of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers run past defenders and spin and sprint to the touchdown, you'd love even more what he does off the field. Last night I had dinner with Earnest and his wife Alicia and his mother after the game in Tampa. He had dinner with us to thank us for sponsoring one of his charity events, a Ft Myers Big Brothers Big Sisters bowling tournament. As the Agent For Athletes, I regularly meet professional athletes, but I have to say, Earnest Graham is in a league all of his own.
For someone of his caliber, to take an evening of his time - especially during football season - shows a lot about his character. The time and money he contributes on behalf of the Earnest Graham foundation is ongoing and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping. On the off season, you will always see Earnest out in the community with a full schedule of events to benefit the community.
From living in Southwest Florida, I've watched Earnest play ball since he was in high school and have always been a big fan. When he went to Tampa Bay and really started shining, I was thrilled for him. After spending a little time with him, I'm an even bigger fan of him for the person he is off the field. If you ever get a chance to meet him or sponsor or contribute to one of his events, I highly recommend it. You'll know that you're money is going to a good cause and will be truly appreciated.
Thanks, Earnest, for not only making Sundays exciting, but for what you do for the Naples, Ft Myers, Cape Coral communities! You've got my support anytime!

This issue will cover 5 useful tips to speed up the sale of your home. If you’re reading my blog, chances are you have already made the first winning decision: hiring a knowledgeable agent that will work towards a satisfactory sale.
Here are some things you can do yourself and won’t hurt your pocket, so we can work as a team in making the sale happen.
The Price has to be RIGHT. We all love our home and it is worth so much to us that we would not want to ask for a penny less than what we think it’s worth. However, the listing price has to be determined taking different factors into consideration. We will analyze the neighborhood and the similar homes that are for sale, as well as the recent sales to make sure the price is fair and reasonable to other agents and, ultimately your prospect buyers.
Pre-Punch List. Those little repairs that never got done could become huge objections to your prospective buyers. It would only cost a few dollars and little time and will certainly make a difference on passing that inspection. You may even want to get inspected prior to the sale so you can be sure everything is in order. Letting your potential buyers know your confidence will make a huge impact, as well.
Home Staging 101. There are many ways to prepare your home for showings. This is referred to as “staging” and consists of finding the focal point of the room and making sure it is properly highlighted. You can do this yourself easily; there are tons of resources all over the place. Staging will include making sure the home looks spotless and smells clean. It will also require to rid your space of objects or furniture that make the space look cluttered or crowded. Items that link the place as “yours” or that reflect your personality and taste should be replaced for neutrals.
Neutral, never Empty. Studies have shown that clutter is not a Seller’s friend, but empty rooms aren’t either. Some furniture actually helps the Buyer to have a reference to determine how large a room is. Empty rooms will shift the focus on “the home” and place it on “the house”, itself, which is sure to turn off any excited Buyer.
First Impressions Sell. With our listing campaign, we post your home on multiple web sites so it is exposed to Buyers worldwide. We try our hardest to take winning pictures of your home so it entices the potential Buyer to schedule a viewing. The exterior of your home should look immaculate. Spend a little time and a little money in landscaping and it will go a long way. Make them fall in love...and call!
Thank you for your time. Please call me at 239-784-4868 with any questions you may have. I will be delighted to answer them for you!
