Step 1 - Get a pre-approval. It is important to know how much you are qualified for, and even more so, how much you are willing to spend. I highly recommend Mellody Fairbanks at Wells Fargo or Eric Almquist at First National Bank for your lending needs.
Step 2 - If you have an existing house, have an agent come out so you know how much you can expect to get for your house.
