2009 - A New Year!

So, one of my goals this year is to become more "blog" savy. I haven't done so well at this in the past. I have pondered many times, "what is my mental block with this blogging thing"? Is it because it's one more computer activity I feel like will be added to my "to do" list? Yes! I think that is it! How does everyone with any kind of a life...and truly working in real estate....keep up with everything? I am on facebook daily, the emails are neverending, I need to blog on activerain, and this "twitter" thing keeps coming up everywhere I go.....how does everyone do it all and still actually talk to their family??

About Me ....

Real Estate is most definately a 'family affair' for me. I have two great boys, Bryson -17 and Joshua -13, that have grown up in this crazy profession that I am certain I was born for!

Prior to becoming a Realtor, I worked as a Paralegal in Memphis (my second career love - law). When not working, which isn't often, we love to travel and watch University of Memphis Basketball ...GO TIGERS! We typically escape to the beach - my definition of pure relaxation.

During the last 12 years I have worked as a Realtor, I have been thankful to earn many designations, awards and honors from both my peers and community that I serve. I currently hold the following designations: ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), CRB (Certified Residential Broker), C-CREC (Consumer Certified Real Estate Consultant), GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute), LMMDC (Lifetime Member Multi-Million Dollar Club)

I am focused annually on setting, and achieving goals, I know the importance of having a specific plan for each new year. In 2004, after 5 years as a practicing Real Estate Agent, I decided to sit for my Brokers Exam and was successful in obtaining my Broker's License. As every year allows for new challenges or obstacles to overcome, the most important aspect is to be prepared and be flexible to allow for a "custom" approach to every home and client.
