Jobless Claims rose for last week. Retail Sales came in quite a bit worse than both last month and what was expected. Yesterday's fears were slightly overdone with the Fed reporting they were going to keep interest rate targets steady but start slowing down their purchase of mortgage backed security's. This sent some tremors through the bond markets which ended shrugging the news off
Technically speaking - the FNMA 4.5% 30 year bond broke down through support yesterday but is attempting at regaining a key level now. The bond is currently neither overbought nor oversold.

The Trade Deficit grew compared to last month but was slightly better than expectations. The big news of the day will be coming out around 2 PM when the Federal Reserve announces what they will be doing with the target interest rate - both today and in the near future. Also, an auction for 10 year Notes will be occurring today at 1 PM.
Technically speaking - the FNMA 4.5% 30 year bond has come back down to support levels and is rising off the oversold state.

Silver Spring Maryland Custom House Painter, Q Bramboeck, is one of the area's leading custom painters. You may not know her now, but Q has developed quite a following for folk who have tired of regular painted walls and moved up to custom painted walls. Whether it be Venetian Plaster, Faux Finishingor a custom palette which can highlight an art room or bring attention to a particular trophy wall, Q is the custom painter for the job.

Q has helped several of my clients whether they are just moving into a new home, or are tired of the builder's paint or want to bring various rooms of the house out of last century's design. One client, who had been in his house for 10 years finally figured out he wanted an artist's touch so he could better entertain his high end clients, decided to go with Venetian Plasterin the "Billiard's Room", accent the two story fireplace to make it a focal point of the space, and updated the kitchen to a brighter, faux-clay look.
Another client wanted their kitchen to be a more comfortable place. Q helped them find the right color, prepare the walls to take the texture needed and complete the job.
Q goes in to a potential client's home, listens to what they want, sees what the current conditions are and then comes back with various ideas for presentation to determine the best fit for the client. She gives an extremely detailed estimate as to what she will do for each client. Once the word is given, Q completes the job in the time determined, for the amount estimated, and leaves the space as clean if not cleaner then when she started.
Q is about to start a job for a client who just closed on his home and wants to make sure the paint is done correctly before the furniture goes in. Q will be working closely with the interior designer to make sure the paint enhances the furniture and accents which the designer will help choose.

So to go from regular dull walls which give no sense of uniqueness, have Q come out to give you complete custom painted rooms where "underneath it all - it's still just drywall".

Productivity came out this morning bounding up to 6.4% - quite a bit more than expectations or last months numbers. This coupled with an apparent flat opening to the stock market is causing bonds to rise nicely in another attempt to regain the 200 day moving average.
Technically speaking - the FNMA 4.5% 30 year bond bounced off a key support level and making a run at the 200 day moving average. It is currently coming nicely off of oversold status.
