Walking Away Homelessness in Holliston, MA

Winter Walk Holliston

Kudos to the Holliston High School Students who sponsor and organize Winter Walk which is a 5 mile walk around Holliston with proceeds donated to end homelessness in Massachusetts. The proceeds of the Walk are donated to HomeStart, Inc which is an organization that works to solve the problem of homelessness in MA. HomeStart acts as a real estate agent for the homeless. They assign advocates to clients to defend their rights in court, They help develop payment plans for rent, and help clients acquire and retain housing.

So it’s appropriate that a number of realtors from ReMax Executive Realty will be taking part in the walk on March 4th at 1pm. If you’d like to join us or cheer us on, the walk begins at the First Congregational Church in Holliston and all proceeds for the event will go directly to HomeStart. For more info go to Winter Walk Information.

A Great Value in Holliston

I love selling homes in Holliston. In my experience, I've seen more Holliston Residents who are looking to buy real estate, looking to move up in town rather than moving out. In fact, I remember working with a builder on four homes on a cul-de-sac in Holliston a few years ago and three of those four new homes were bought by Holliston residents moving up. If you're looking for homes for sale in Holliston or you live in Holliston now but think you'd like to move to a bigger home, then you need to take a look at this home!

Last Word on 2011 Home Sales in Plainville

Plainville homes soldPlainville, MA had a solid 2011 when it came to Real Estate Sales, If we just review single family sales, we can see that fewer homes were sold in 2011 than 2010 but the number of condos sold grew dramatically over 2010. The average sale per sq foot price has dropped a bit . When compared to Metrowest, most metrowest towns had more homes sold in 2011 over 2012 but all towns except one that I reviewed, saw a reduction in per sq ft sale price. If you would like to learn more about Plainville's real estate market, take a look at the Plainville Homes Sold in 2011 Rpt under the category "Plainville" And if you would like to know more about the value of your home, or you would like to look for homes in Plainville, give Marcia Kramarz a call 508 446 5094.

Millis 2011 Homes Sold Statistics

Millis Real EstateLots of good things are happening in the town of Millis, not the least of which is a new library! Most people know in Metrowest Boston that real estate is hot in Millis because of the schools' reputation as well. If you're considering buying or selling in Millis, you should be interested in how Millis did in the residential real estate landscape in 2011. There is some good news for Millis Real Estate. We sold 5 more homes in 2011 over 2010 and while the average sale price dropped a little, it was not dramatic. In Millis and surrounding Metrowest communities, 2011 was a very stable real estate envirnment on the whole. If you would like to take a look at more detail about the Millis 2011 real estate market, visit my metrowest Mass homes site. If you're thinking of buying or selling in Millis this year, give me a call. I would love to help out.
