ST. CLAIR SHORES REAL ESTATE MARKET REPORT FOR JULY - HOMES
There were 61 single family homes that closed in JULY up from 49 in June. 33 of the 61 sales were bank owned homes. That's 54%. Bank owned homes made up 44% of the sales in June, 65% in May, 60% in April & 77% in March.

ST. CLAIR SHORES MARKET REPORT FOR JULY - CONDOMINIUMS
The buyers market continues, which makes it a great time to purchase a home or condo in St. Clair Shores. As of August 12th, there are currently 433 single family homes for sale ranging in price from as low as $13,000 investor specials to lake front homes over 1 million. Of those homes on the market 09% or 43 of them are bank owned. There are many homes to choose from, no matter what your price range, now is the time to take advantage of this market, prices will not remain this low forever.
Interest rates are at record lows and there are some great FHA loans available for those that need a lower down payment. In addition there is a 2009 tax credit up to $8,000 for First Time Buyers!

For the of week of August 3rd, 2009 there are currently 11 Hud Homes on the market in Saint Clair Shores ranging in price from $15,000 to $80,000. Of those 11, 8 of them are eligible for the $100. down fha program.
There's still time to purchase a home and claim the First Time Buyers Tax Credit, but don't wait too long, November will be here before you know it.
