Landmark Event - REBAR Camp: Denver

The First Annual REBAR Camp: Denver, (rebarcamp.com/denver) occurs Friday, May 22, 2009 at the The Denver Police Protective Association Event Center and 21st and Decatur Streets, just north of Invesco Field. The event , Produced and Directed by Kristal Kraft, local Realtor®, and Social Media Guru, will bring together 450 Realtors and industry insiders for as far away as Pennsylvania and California to share and learn about using social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn to create a meaningful dialogue with interested consumers.

"The age of ‘broadcast marketing' is winding down", according to Kraft. " New concepts in marketing, essentially brought about by the maturation of the Internet and ‘permission marketing', brings together the consumer and the marketer in a highly interactive environment that creates trust leading to efficient and mutually beneficial results".

The REBAR Camp Movement, which first appeared in San Francisco in August 2008, is sweeping the nation today, offering the real estate community new concepts in consumer interaction, taught in a participatory environment. Billed as a "non-conference", delivered with as little organizational structure as possible, Learning Leaders include Jeff Turner, Lorelle VonFossen, Dave Moyer, Rob McNealy, Jim Turner, Bill Lublin, Marianna Wagner, Mark Eibner, Teresa Boardman, and over 30 other experts in the field of social media and real estate communications.

The daylong event, absolutely free to attendees, is made possible through the generous contributions of the following sponsors: Better Homes and Gardens, Diverse Solutions, The Denver Board of Realtors, Altos Research, The National Association of Realtors, Security Title, Cherry Creek Mortgage, Armbrust Real Estate Academy, Zillow, RealGeeks, Meridian Title, Metrolist, Rusty and Frances Wehner, Active Rain, Live Urban Denver, Title America, Gretchen Faber, The Berkshire Group, Trulia, Aumnia, DocuSign, Barbara Harris, Trinity Title, Private Market Real Estate, Your Castle Realty, Kinetic, ML Broadcast, The Loft Chicks, and Reflective Motion.
