Dallas/Ft Worth Real Time Real Estate Market Info

I've just subscribed to a new service that provides real-time market info for the Dallas/Ft Worth, and entire North Texas real estate market! It's called the Powerpage, and clients can go to the homepage on my website, www.monicagrosz.com, click on the Powerpage tab on the left-hand margin, and select a market area to find the latest Dallas area home listings, properties under contract, price changes, etc.

This is particulary helpful for buyer clients looking in one of the really popular Dallas neighborhoods. In some Dallas market areas, we're seeing well-priced properties in good condition going under contract very quickly, and even receiving multiple offers.

The Powerpage offers my clients the ability to view a property the minute it goes into the MLS! The Powerpage updates every hour and a half! Sometimes they see properties before I do!

And for Sellers, it also provides them the ability to see the activity in their neighborhood.

Dallas Real Estate Market Alive and Well

Just today, yet another acquaintance looked at me with dismay as she asked, "How's business?" Her mood lifted when I told her that it's just fine! It is true that there has been significant change in the mortgage industry, and there is a lot of real estate inventory on the market right now, but when the media reports dismal-sounding figures, they fail to add any perspective. People are still buying and selling real estate! Banks are lending money! Interest rates are low! I had a great December and am picking up two listings this month and working with several buyers. The acquaintance in question is spooked because she has to re-finance next September due to a 5 yr ARM coming due. She has great credit, a ton of equity in her home, money in the bank, and good income. Yet, when she listens to news reports, she panics. I told her to turn off the television....
