Self Esteem Not Required: If you have low self esteem or lack of confidence, there is hope. Self esteem is critical in the formative years of childhood, but you have grown up now. As an adult, you don't need those psychological niceties for the law of cause and effect to work for you. Just think: if someone who is low in self confidence plants a seed in fertile ground and waters it (cause), is it any less likely to grow and produce (effect), than a seed planted under the same conditions by someone who is confident? No. When the seed grows and the vision materializes, people who observe it will freely give you recognition, honor and esteem.
Do you have a business or entrepreneurial endeavor that is underperforming due to your fear or lack of confidence? Then turn the tables and simply do the work that your business process dictates. E.g.: pick up the phone, call a prospect, deliver the script, and make the invitation. Repeat. Sooner or later, you will find success. Typically, one success in 10 attempts will be so overpowering that it will make the nine irrelevant. One success produces esteem and confidence. In turn, that result is likely to produce desired results in two out of 10...further building esteem.

For resentment is a dysfunctional way.
Do you ever feel a lump in your throat--a knot in your stomach--when you recall a past occasion where someone did something to hurt you? People can be delightful and they can be dreadful--true? And the less pleasant sort can inflict pain and punishing emotions that refuse to go away. At the slightest reminder, the hurt feelings of past wrongs can seem to assault us with involuntary impetus. Ah, but it is not involuntary. We make a choice every time we experience hurt feelings of any kind.
Here are two reasons to forgive and leave the hurt behind. First, the negative feelings are a choice--perhaps semi-conscious, but you can choose not to experience them by simply forgiving, regardless of how severe the harm done to you. Second, unforgiven wrongs produce a poisonous, destructive mix of emotions such as anger, grudge, hatred, and resentment. That pernicious mix kills your creativity, your energy, your joy and much more.

The man that sent this information is a computer tech. He spends a lot of time clearing the junk off computers for people and listens to complaints about speed. All forwards are not bad, just some. Be sure you read the very last paragraph.

By now, I suspect everyone is familiar with www.snopes.com and/or www..truthorfiction.com for determining whether information received via email is just that: true /false or fact /fiction. Both are excellent sites.

1) Any time you see an E-Mail that says forward this on to '10' (or however many) of your friends, sign this petition, or you'll get bad luck, good luck, you'll see something funny on your screen after you send it, or whatever, it almost always has an E-Mail tracker program attached that tracks the cookies and E-Mails of those folks you forward to.
The host sender is getting a copy each time it gets forwarded and then is able to get lists of 'active ' E-Mail addresses to use in SPAM E-Mails, or sell to other spammers. Even when you get emails that demand you send the email on if you're not ashamed of God / Jesus .....that's E-mail tracking and they' re playing on our conscience. These people don' t care how they get your email addresses - just as long as they get them. Also, emails that talk about a missing child or a child with an incurable disease "how would you feel if that was your child"....E-mail Tracking!!! Ignore them and don't participate!
2) Almost all E-Mails that ask you to add your name and forward on to others are similar to that mass letter years ago that asked people to send business cards to the little kid in Florida who wanted to break the Guinness Book of Records for the most cards. All it was, and all any of this type of E-Mail is, is a way to get names and cookie ' tracking information for telemarketers and spammers - - to validate active E-Mail accounts for their own profitable purposes.
You can do your Friends and Family members a GREAT favor by sending this information to them; you will be providing a service to your Friends , and will be rewarded by not getting thousands of spam E-Mails in the future!
Do yourself a favor and STOP adding your name(s) to those types of listings regardless how inviting they might sound!...or make you feel guilty if you don' t!....it's all about getting email addresses - nothing more!
You may think you are supporting a GREAT cause, but you are NOT! Instead, you will be getting tons of junk mail later and very possibly a virus attached!Plus, we are helping the spammers get rich! Let's not make it easy for them!
Also: E-Mail petitions are NOT acceptable to Congress or any other organization - i.e. social security, etc. To be acceptable, petitions must have a signed signature and full address of the person signing the petition, so this is a waste of time and you're just helping the Email trackers
I've found it best to Copy&Paste the information and insert it in a New mail before forwarding/ sending it to my contacts. That way it remains in a safe environment with less risk of virus spreading & hacking attempts.
Just MondayAM 3/8/10, my yahoo account had been hacked from just responding to an inquiry on one of my real estate sites where I generate leads & grow my network. I was doing my job and responded directly to a potential customer regarding bank owned property. I got a little feeling not to send my response directly after responding through the site first, but I did being it was Sunday evening. They sent out distress emails to my old friend contacts and the RE business people I'd been corresponding with now through yahoo. My girlfriend woke me up telling me to check my account because she'd received this. The account was locked immediately, Thank God, because the confirmation of the hacker's change came to my gmail where I confirmed it was not me. I'm a little inconvenienced for 24hours or so. My main concern was protecting the people I converse with. Just doing what I do on a legitimate site, whether it's looking up property for customers, or self- Craigslist, etc, we must be very cognizant of how we communicate with one another- ESPECIALLY TODAY.
We have many modern conveniences with Predators who utilize the same.

Stop now and examine your life to identify a key issue that threatens you with paralyzing emotions--based on actual or anticipated events. Practice the two steps in the paragraph above. Repeat.
