An elk in Montana is not a surprising site-- but it is a Welsome site ANYTIME! I feel so fortunate when getting to view these wonderful species of animals. To drive to work and be surprised by the sight a Monarach ELk-- surely a treat!

THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN BEAR COUNTRY! These bears play hard and yet look so soft. But the power is oeverwhelming when you are this close! To view these breat Bruins is a special quiet time . West Yellowstone allows fooks to see these bears and they are studied here. Often these Bears have been trouble makers in Alasaka , Canada, or Montana and instead of being put down- are brought here . Not a perfect life-- but better than the alternative.
Do yourself a favor and get over to Yellowstone someday. In and out of the park Nature shows its fanatistic self!
WELL THIS IS NOT A LION , TIGER , OR BEAR-- IT IS A great American ICON-- BUFFALO!
Yellowstone is a great place to photograph and see and enjoy Bison-- But there is another area near Ronan Mt-- about 45 miles from Missoula Montana that have is home to Bison on a Federal Reserve! A note and warning- each year folks get gored by these WILD ANIMALS and some times they die from their injuries.They are not tame!
Keisha - in the Creek- Cherry Creek is running cool and even though it is summer warm up here in Montana -- she is not going for the dunk! Personally-- I do not blame her! The water is from the still melting snow high in the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness Area that Cherry Creek drains. The fact that Keisha can walk down the hill to the Creek makes her summers alot more fun! Come find your summer get away here in the Great NW Montana Area.Debra Cernick
