MOTHER NATURE AT HER BEST-- HORSEBACK RIDING HEAVEN

This picture was taken on a horseback ride up to a mountain Lake a few weekends ago. The rider is Jackie DeShazer- an agent for Montana Country Real Estate in Libby, MT. The waterfall is approximately halfway to the final destination and was a beautiful site and a great place to stretch your legs. The picture was taken by a talented local photographer - Heidi Desch, who is also a good friend.

If you would like to view more of Heidi's scenic photogpaphy visit her website at: http://heididesch.com/

THANKS TO JACKIE DESHAZER FOR LETTING ME REBLOG THIS TO LOCALISM!

Week-end Plan

IAM THE Planner--I thought that it would be fun to get out and find the water this week-end. And it was FUN! Well- actually it was last week-end. But this week-end is calling us to the lake or the river or the creek again. Here in NW Montana it is easy to find a little solitude and alot of water!

For fishing, for photography, for floating or just for peace and quite find the water this week-end!

SPAR Lake Troy Montana

SPAR Lake Troy Montana! This is a special high mountain lake that often one has to hike in order to enjoy such a lake!

But this Spar Lake can be accessed via vehicle.

A deep and cold water lake that boasts Mackinaw and cutthroat and rainbow. Scenic Mountain peaks can be seen on the south end of the lake.

If you want to hike there is Upper Spar Lake that has a trail and is smaller but just as beautiful.

THE MOOSE IS BACK

WELL-it is always nice to see our that favorite animals that have made it through a long winter.

THE MOOSE IS BACK-- SHE MADE IT!- In this wonderland called mother nature- winter are pretty hard

on wildlife. The ground is snow covered and food is scarce-- this winter was particularly long and we had not

seen "OUR" moose, who frequents an area across the creek from our home. I had thought of HER and was

saddened that She may have come to harm through the winter months--BUT SHE'S BACK! AND SHE HAS A BABY!
