The many hiking trails ( when the snow melts) to 13 Alpine Lakes- most have great fishing! An alternative mode of transportation is HORSEBACK riding if you prefer. Come enjoy mother nature as she was meant to be. This describes the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness Area.
Aqua - glacial colored water describes the GREAT Kootenai RIver. Montana Fly fishing- drifting with friends in rubber rafts- kayaking - this describes the fun on teh the water.

i know that I would love to on Crystal Lake about 45 miles from Libby Montana TODAY! There are several listing out that direction on this, Middle Thompson and other CHAIN OF LAKES in the area. Kalispell Montana is about 45 miles south of here. Acces is from US Highway 2 south. This lake is enjoyed by summer loving folks with boats and canoes, for fishing fun, or paddling around. YES - today is a great day! It is SUNDAY- the SUN is shining brightly in Libby Montana! 
There is nothing more beautiful than a CRISP-( okay I said it- crisp- spring morning) Though the snow is still heavy laying on the top of our magnificent mountains ( Cabinet Mountain Wilderness Area) we know that spring has arrived! It appears we can hide Easter Eggs next week in the GRASS! (other words the snow has melted in the lower valley-- it was a close one this year for the Easter Bunny who now does not need his SNOW BOOTS) .
Truthfully, we had a very late spring with temperatures about 20 degrees lower than our average spring- which makes spring all the more appreciated.
