I visited the community of Botania Lakes this past week. This community was recently established and has about 300 homes built. At completion it should have a total of 600 homes. This community has many of the amenities you would expect. Additionally I think there are several features that make this a great place to live.
1. The new Treeline Elementary School is adjacent to the community.
2. The proximity to the SW Regional Airport is really desirable. You are not so close that noise is an issue but close enough that the drive is probably not more than 10-15 minutes.
3. Treeline Ave is not heavily traveled but does provide a good north-south corridor with good access to shopping, restaurants, and I-75.

I did a home preview for a client of mine yesterday at one of the Short Sales in Botanica Lakes in Ft. Myers. This 5 bedroom home was recently reduced to $219,000. Of course the real question is ‘What is the selling price?’ Many times homes are selling for well above list prices as multiple offers are occurring and buyers recognize the real value of a property.

So often we leave the local area to experience something that we have in our own back yard. For example, we took a trip to the Keys this summer. Upon arrival I looked around and decided much of what the Florida Keys has to offer can be found in Lee County.
