27 Common Household Pollutants - Improve Your Health And Your Showings! - Arlington VA Homes

There's a lot of stuff floating around in the air as it is.
Why keep adding more sneeze-inducing particles to it?
Some household items can be worth the occasional sniffle. For instance, it may be much more pleasant to smell a vanilla-infused pot of potpourri than your lovely family on bean and taco night.
With that being said, there is a long list of common (and not so common) household items that can affect your allergies and your guests' allergies.
It's important to run down this checklist, not only for your personal health, but for the health of those potentially buying your home.
The last thing you'd want to do is confuse a potential buyer into thinking you owned 10 cats, when in reality, you're simply using an air freshener with formaldehyde in it.

Happy Terrible Traffic Tuesday in DC! - Arlington VA Homes

It's that day of the year here in the DC area: The Tuesday after Labor Day.
Kids are going back to school and families are making their way back home from vacation.
There is a 100% chance of really bad traffic today.
If you must drive your vehicle today, prepare for the worst.
But, if you have an option... for the love of Ron Burgundy, TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.
If you're heading North, take the MARC.
South and West, the VRE.
Around the city, METRO.
You will not regret this advice.
Godspeed, commuters!
