Greenville will become North American headquarters for redi-Group North America LLC, which expects to create 250 jobs over the next five years, the S.C. Department of Commerce and the Greenville Area Development Corp. has announced.

Greenville County building permits fell 49% in 2008
New home construction in Greenville County plunged 49% to 1,732 starts in 2008, compared with 3,420 new starts in 2007, according to The Market Edge, a Knoxville, Tn. research firm.
