Gone are the days of unsound purchases. In every aspect of consumer purchasing, people are tightening their belts. Starbucks struggles as consumers wonder if they truly need a $4.50 coffee. Or is it just an unreasonable desire they can do without? Hybrid and energy efficient cars are all the hoopla these days. Has anyone seen how Hummer SUV sales have plummeted? Excessivness is no longer in style. Rough Riding credit card carrying consumers are dying out. It is cool to be practical again.
