Mary White brings a lifetime of real estate activity to the table with over 20 years experience in real estate marketing and sales in Lancaster County, which complement her 17 previous years as a real estate paralegal in Louisiana. Real Estate is Mary's business; her only business. Her Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, has been implemented to garner a vast Knowledge of the real estate industry. Mary is a Leader in her field with service to the state and local real estate associations through various committees and as a director for both organizations. Currently, she serves as one of Lancaster County's Directors for the PA Association of Realtors in Harrisburg, and as President-Elect for the PA State Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists. She is a member of the National Assn. of Realtors, the C&I Council, the Real Estate Buyers Agency Council, and is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute. ABOUT OUR LANCASTER COUNTY MARKET
Founded in 1719 as a land grant to William Penn, Lancaster boasts many historical landmarks within the County. One does not have to look far to find many sites that embellish our American History, from Rockford (the home of General Edward Hand), to Wheatland (the home of James Buchannan, 15th President of the United States). Mary has just been elected the 2009 President of the State Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists. Giving back to the industry is a big part of leadership, knowledge and skills exhibited by The Mary White Team.
Currently, Mary serves as a Director on the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors Board of Directors, representing the local association members (LCAR) at the state level at the PAR quarterly meetings in Harrisburg.
As a member of the Leadership PAR 2008 team, she is honing her skills in education, leadership, public speaking, state legislative initiatives and networking. She will graduate from the Leadership Team in January 2009.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Volunteerism is critical within one's sphere, whether it be the real estate industry, one's church, one's school district, or cultural and charity organizations within one's community; whereby the common good of mankind is vital. The Mary White Team strives to give back to the community of Lancaster, and that is reflected in the many contributions of time and energy the teammates donate.
Mary has served on the Foundation Board of St. Joseph Hospital and St. Joseph Health Ministries; in addition to serving as the President of the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. She is active in Chapter BQ, PEO, and has served in many offices including, President, Vice President, and Secretary. Currently, Mary serves her church as a member of the Building Committee, and served in past ministries at the church including Parish Council, Lector, and High School Religious Education Instructor. She was active in the School District of Conestoga Valley serving as Co-Chairman of the Football Boosters Club, and the Campaign Development Chairman of the Post Prom Committee. She and Richard both volunteer at the Fulton Opera House serving concessions. Mary is an active member of the Coterie Club of Lancaster and served as its President and Vice President, as well as chairman of several committees. She's a past docent at Wheatland, the home of James Buchanan.
Through the Community Service Projects Committee at PruHomesale, Mary takes an active role in contributing time and talents to Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army Coats for Kids, Boys & Girls Club, Shreiber Pediatric Rehabilitation Center and Make-a-Wish Foundation.
