This Saturday, April 5th is the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors Homeownership Fair. See below for details... (from SCCAOR)
Join SCCAOR at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara. The fair will include 24 seminars and over 80 educational tables. This event is set up to teach first time homebuyers, move up buyers, real estate investors and retirees the how-to's, pitfalls and opportunities to assist with their real estate decisions.
I will be sharing a booth with ProFamily Financial Systems: www.profamilyfinancial.com and handing out information. I will also give a brief overview on putting your Short Sales together, the process involved in getting deals approved, and a few tips that the banks might not want you to know. This discussion will take place during one of the 24 seminars scheduled for the day.
Also, April 4th is the deadline for SCCAOR members to sign up for the volunteer for RSVP: the Realtors Senior Volunteer Program. Seniors who need repairs done are encouraged to call SCCAOR offices to sign up. (From SCCAOR)
SCCAOR REALTOR® and affiliate volunteers will visit seniors and the homebound in San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Campbell, Milpitas, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, and perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks free of charge. They may replace light bulbs, install house numbers, change furnace filters, or clean windows. Volunteers will also install handheld shower fixtures, plant spring flowers or help with recycling.
RSVP is an annual community outreach program that embodies real estate professionals' commitment to the community. The program takes place in May, which is designated as "Adopt-A-Senior" month. Please visit the link below to sign up!
