Two More Crazy Websites – Really!

As if the web was not yet full enough with the bizarre, here come two more websites to fill in that niche:

WhoCanISue.com

And

IJustMadeLove.com

Just in case the names did not reveal it all:  WhoCanISue.com will help you determine if you indeed have a potential lawsuit on your hands and will hook you up with the right attorney.  Using Google maps, IJustMadeLove.com will let you put a pin on the exact spot of the World where you’ve just had your amorous tryst.  Perusing the map, it became obvious to me that there are a lot more “Mile High Members” than I originally thought…  See for yourself!

CCD – The New Health Scare

“If honeybees become extinct, within four years Human kind will become extinct”. Albert Einstein

Apparently, over the last three years, more than one in three honey bee colonies have died nationwide, posing a serious risk to our natural food supply.

One cause of these losses is an alarming phenomenon called Colony Collapse Disorder, or “CCD.” When a hive experiences CCD, the honey bees mysteriously desert their hive and die. CCD symptoms have been reported by more than thirty-five states across the U.S. and in many other countries.

Researchers do not know exactly what causes CCD, but they believe there may be many factors contributing to the problem, including viruses, mites, chemical exposure and poor nutrition.

Hagen-Dazs has shown its commitment to this important issue by posting a fascinating website filled with educational solutions. HelpTheHoneybees.com is a unique website filled with good cheer and great ideas. Enjoy!

12 Things You Absolutely Have To Do While in Myrtle Beach:

Barefoot on the Beach in Myrtle Beach

1. Walk barefoot on the Beach. This is generally a lot more pleasant in the summertime, but you have to take your shoes off and feel the sand and the Ocean water at least once during your stay, regardless of the season.

2. Swim in the Ocean. The Atlantic water is warm during the summer and there is nothing more magical than an evening or early morning swim. I have spent hours on end in the water and come out refreshed and energized every time. Try it! With so many lovely swimming pools, it’s sometimes hard to convince people to just enjoy the waves.

3. Have your pictures taken on the Beach at Sunset; they will be the most flattering pictures you’ve ever taken. That special light will imbibe every pore with a new translucency and lovely hue. There is something magical about pictures taken on the Beach at Sunset or Sunrise. Just ask any model: most photo shoots in exotic locations occur at that time.

4. Have a picnic on the Beach at Sunset. I don’t need to elaborate on this one, do I?

Brookgreen Gardens in Myrtle Beach5. Visit Brookgreen Gardens, the most enchanting outdoors Museum in the World.

6. Visit Broadway at the Beach. The shops and restaurants line the water banks. Take the boat from one side of the Lake to the other, or walk across on one of the bridges. Catch a show at the IMAX Theater, or interact with the fish at the Aquarium.

7. Catch a show at the House of Blues. Anyone who’s anyone in the Entertainment Business has played here.

8. Visit Market Common. I call it Little Europe in Myrtle Beach. Market Common in Myrtle Beach, SCLovely shops, outside pubs and restaurants in a walk friendly atmosphere.

9. Visit Charleston. Only two hours away, Charleston is a city unlike any other, Southern charm at its best. Leave in the morning and return the next day for a perfect sojourn.

10. Catch a show at the Alabama Theatre, Carolina Opry or Dixie Stampede. This is Southern Entertainment at its best.

11. Catch Sunday morning service on the Beach at the end of Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The service starts at 9am. The Sermon is lively, the Pastor is entertaining and the view is perfect (you’re on the sand, facing the Ocean).

12. Have lunch or dinner outdoors in any one of a string of restaurants in Murrells Inlet. My favorite is Creek Ratz. There is usually a small band playing, the food is good and watching the boats go by is delightful.

There are a thousand other things you could be doing in Myrtle Beach, so my little list is only the beginnning. You don't have to wait for summer to vacation here; come whenever you can, the sun will most likely be up and waiting for you. See you at the Beach!

LOL FRIDAY: Odds & Ends Borrowed from Friends...

I love to give homemade gifts. Which one of my kids do you want?

I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.

I like you. People say I've no taste, but I like you.

I wonder what life would have been like if you had had enough oxygen at birth.

I’m not into working out. My philosophy: No pain. No pain.

I went to San Francisco I found someone's heart. Now what?

I was told to wear loose fitting clothes to my exercise class. If I had loose fitting clothes, I wouldn't need the exercise class.

I was in the attic the other day with the wife. Damp and dusty.........but she's great with the kids!

NASA has just completed work on a new rocket, nicknamed Civil Servant. It won't work and they can't fire it.

If aliens are smart enough to travel through space, why do they abduct the dumbest people on Earth?

I’ve used up all my sick days, so I’m calling in dead.

I would never belong to a club that would have me as a member.

I tried to hang myself with a bungee chord. I kept almost dying.

I only use deodorant under one arm, so I know what I would have smelled like.

If I throw a stick, will you leave?

If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?

If diamonds are a girl's best friend and a dog is man's best friend, who really is the dumber sex?
