Wow, how unprofessional. The computer sends out disapproval letters on pending short sales in ERROR. Check with your sellers to see if they received one of these letters from the computer that was sent out around the 19th or 20th of February. I was told by a short sale rep that this error occured for files still in workout and the borrowers should call and will be given an update on their files. Wow, do you think Countrywide would have the integrity to send out short sale status letters? How about sending out a letter stating that the prior disapproval letter is redacted? NO WAY. Countrywide needs to revamp their entire short sale process.
