Taos , New Mexico is on leading edge of Smart Grid implementation. Buyers are clearly choosing Green features when they are already in place. Taos has already equipped 17,500 homes with the technology to communicate on a Smart Grid with entire network of the local utility provider. This is most advanced of asy community I am aware of in this region. They are now poised to apply for Stimulus money targeted to implement smaller Smart Grid projects to test the technology and efficiency. I'm so excited and proud be part of the solution in my own back yard.
