We want the Buyers to visualize your home as their home and if everywhere they (the Buyers) look is pictures of you and your family then that will be hard for them to visualize.

Last week the Federal Reserve said it would double its purchases of mortgages debt... The interest rate fell to under 5% (Click Here To Search For Home Just Like The Realtors Do). This has caused another mini refiance boom for loan officers, according to the associated press mortgage applications were up 32.2% for the week ended March 20.
This same thing happened in January and it did get a lot of the buyer's who had been looking for awhile to make a decision on finding a home sooner rather than later... The topic everyone speaks about nowadays is the economy that we are experiencing. Friends and Family will ask how my business is doing and they are shocked when I tell them how well it is going.
The reason why business is still strong for me is because I get my clients to understand that the real estate news they have heard is not local it is national news. So, when potential home buyers hear about double-digit price declines that worries them and they are relecutant to look at homes.
The reality is that Dallas has hardly been affected by the real estate bubble burst and the slow economy (we are truly lucky to be in the Dallas area). For example my home appreciated 13% last year in a "bad" market! If you take anything away from this blog then it needs to be what I write next... If you are thinking about buying a home in the next few months, then you need to use a Realtor that will help show you neighborhoods that have a history of stable prices and not ones that have been the hardest by foreclosures.
Any real estate agent can show you houses but the ones that will take the time to explain to you the process of home buying and the ones that will show you areas that have a stable home value history is the one that is truly worth working with.
