I just read an article how these flat fee brokers who promise exposure and MLS marketing of sellers property.
They promise the sellers that marketing, exposure and Multiple Listing presence will sell the property.
Well, I've got news for these self promoting flat fee brokers, just having property on the multiple listing service does not guarantee the sale of the property, never did and it never will.
I can't tell you how many people have called me over the years to list their property for sale after having been "ripped off" by these flat fee services.
Each have a bundle of services that they offer, ranging in all sorts of prices and fees for service.
An experienced listing agent has much more than the multiple listing service to market property, he or she offers years of experience in every market condition in real estate and offers that knowledge and experience that will produce the successful sale of property in today's market conditions.
It takes much more than a contract to get the transaction to the closing table where the seller receives the check at closing.
Don't be fooled by the snake oil salesman of our day.
