Super Ferry Heading to Maui with new fuel efficient car

I am sitting on the Super Ferry heading home to Maui. We are passing by Honolulu as I am typing as we pass by Diamond Head. The sun is rising over Diamond Head and it is another Brilliant day in paradise. My journey started some months back when I ask Active Rains opinion on what car they liked for fuel efficiency. I was driving my VW Toureg from Haiku to Wailea every day. Gas prices are $4.59 gallon on Maui. With oil prices dropping they haven't drop gas prices on Maui.

So after gathering information on a smaller more fuel efficient car with comfort for my clients. I came up with another VW the Passat. Getting up to 30 miles a gallon and enjoying a luxury ride. So I threw caution to the wind and sold my Toureg. That morning I check Craig's list for Oahu and found my car.

It was fate. So I flew over to Oahu and purchased my new energy efficient car. I am rethinking these days my strategies of doing life. The world has changed as we know it. Cost of fuel is changing the way we do business . We have had to change the way we drive. With the housing crisis it has affected the whole nation. From the Realtor, to the homeowner and the people that make a living from the visitor industry. If gas wasn't enough of a problem we have a Hugh federal debt which has caused the dollar to slide. So with the housing market sliding, gas prices and the federal debt we are living in different times. So with changing times like Dylan said, For times they are a changing.

So back to the Superferry. I am enjoying the beautiful blue skies with Molokai in the distance. I am heading back to Maui. But it is not business as usual. The world has changed and the way we do business and live is changing. Change is okay if you recognize the climate around you is different. If you want to read a cool book, Who moved the cheese. It's is about a group of mice and how their world was change when the cheese was moved. It came down to how each mouse dealt with change. Very thought provoking book. So back to Maui with my new fuel efficient car. One item checked off the list. I am all about thinking outside the box. I really enjoy the conversation with AR. There is a lot of Bla, Bla, Bla which I am guilty of some times. But if we are listening there are a few jewels that members share that can affect your life in a positive way.
