Working in Madison and Huntsville Alabama I've really had the good fortune of working with some teriffic couples lately and the home pictured bleow has given me the pleasure of working with yet another great young couple Michael & Bria, purchasing their first home together...you can imagine how excited they are.
Michael is from across the pond (UK) and is working on his citizenship and becoming a pilot here in the states. Bria is employed at a local airport...go figure. Anyway, I may be getting the the better end of this transaction because Michael has promised to buy me a Guinness or two...he also said I should put on my dancing shoes...not sure what he meant...maybe it's one of those strange customs our cousins in the UK have. I did, however, make it clear that if there was any dancing going on it would involve Bria and not Michael...just to be absolutely certain there was no misunderstanding.

Shout Out To A Few ActiveRain Members...Thanks For Your Concern
Last April 27th Alabama was hard hit by strong storms and tornadoes. We have not fully recovered from that and yet yesterday March 2nd saw another round of damaging storms and tornadoes roll through northern Alabama and into Tennessee. While this latest storm system didn't cause nearly the damage as last years weather, we still sustained damage mostly following the same path. My neighborhood as well as many friends neighborhoods were hit once again. Fortunately for me I only lost power which is still out a day later, but other friends, clients and co-workers weren't as lucky,
During yesterdays and last years storms I received several phone calls, emails, text messages and FaceBook inquiries asking if I was okay or if I suddenly found myself searching for the Wizard of OZ. Anyway, I just wanted to give a shout out to AR members who reached out. Yesterdays messages are still fresh in my mind and if I forget anyone from last year I apologize in advance. Meridianville Alabama Another Happy Family Helped Into Their New Home By Nick T Pappas Real Estate Broker
Being a Realtor here in the Madison and Huntsville Alabama area has its perks and one of the events I look forward to the most at the closing table is presenting the lady of the newly purchased home a commissioned work of art of the new home. I've done this several times and it has provoked more tears...good tears...of appreciation and thanks.
Not quite two years ago I represented Julie Ellsworth and her husband Chris in the purchase of their new home. Julie, it turns out is a fine artist and I began commissioning her to paint watercolors of homes my clients were buying and presenting them as closing gifts. Nick Pappas was our realtor in the spring of 2008. My husband and I met Nick at a open house and and later called him about showing us homes. Nick worked with us diligently to find the best home for our budget . I would often send Nick a email list of homes I found on the MLS list requesting more information .He always get me that info right away not days later. He would show us homes day,night weekends whenever we wanted.Sometimes even going back to properties of interest 2-3 times . If I was curious about something with the property without even asking Nick would take it upon himself to call the listing agant and try to get answers to those curiosities.He showed us anything we wanted he didnt try to sway us toward one over another.
