Dear AR community,
My goal is to get 5000 followers to follow me and my sucess on the biggest struggle of my life fighting for my life from the one thing i've struggled with since i was 6 ...my weight... I think there are so many people out there that are in the same boat and feel hopeless, some feel helpless and i know personally i dont have 3k a month for a trainer or 30k for lap band/ gastric bypass... I hope you will all follow and can be inpired and tell your friends about a real life story that im hoping will notr only inspire me but inspire everyone that reads it.... 5000 followers is only the begining I hope. I'd love to one day have a million followers or more but in order for me to get 5000 followers i need to inspire not only you guys but myself others, my sole my life , the world... I plan on writing my way to 5000 followers...If i do this right i'll eventually have many more then that!! So get ready to rock your socks off and get inspired with me!!
Dear Friends-- my name is Nikki -- I'm 30-- and I have the most addictive addiction in the world-- I'm a food-a-holic.. I weighed in at 344 less 7 weeks ago-- the heaviest i've ever been in my life.. It was a reality check as well as a depressing moment and the saddest moment of my life... My whole life I've wanted to be a mom a wife, a friend and my weight has limited me from all the above.. Instead it often tends to be me alone, sad , and feeling like i dont deserve to be great...I mean afterall you see the Victoria Secrets models and i assure you none are 5'9 and 344 pounds... My goal on this mission below 200!!
What's riding on it: A new car and a chance to help millions around the worls with weight issues.. I've had it on my heart for a long time to run a weight loss camp in Hawaii -- however it's not going to work if I can't do it myself...
Today i feel sad: i met this great guy who i saw 4 times in one week things were going fantastical and i was starting to like him and i thoght he was starting to like me back.. he told me from the getgo he was leaving for a month!! however its been a week and i stil havent heard from him... Maybe it's because im fat-- maybe iwas nieve to think a great guy could like a fat chic.. It sucks but its true when people say looks ar everything --- there not everything there the only thing... no peson will give you the time of the day if you dont look like you fit a certain image... Maybe its just me maybe its an esteem issue as so many women have ...
Scary Statistics: Did you all know that next to pornography people watching other people eat to gain weight is the largest obsession in America... Men and Women paying others to gain weight at an unhealthy rate...Women and Men are being paid up to 1000 dollars an hour some even more to stuff there face with deep fried foods, sweets and anything unhealthy... It's a sick society when that becomes an obsession... 65% of people are overweight or obese/ morbidly obese.. Obestity is one of the few things in the world you don't hear about as a dis-order.. You're anorexic or bulemic you need help, clinics, support groups, councelors you have a food- to mouth disorder as my ncle calls it you're week or lazy... However do people realise food is the single hardest addiction to kick? Food is key for survival and ir rules so many people.. It's a social outlet, its something you need for survival... You can live without Alchohol, Drugs, gambling and many other vices but you can't live without food.... This is my first blog and I will be writing them everyday til I have at least 5000 followers and start to not only be able to inspire myself but others... Stay tuned tomorrow for my Story...tonight was an intro!!
Lahaina Vacation Rentals:
I rented an awesome vacation unit in a luxury condo in Downtown Lahaina at a place called Aina Nalu. It was the best vacation I ever had. It not only had a gorgeous pool, and spa but was walking distance to restaurants, night life, and the ocean. This was a great unit at an affordable price ( Which trust me, is a rarity in Lahaina) It consisted of two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a granite kitchen countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms and a washer dryer in the unit. With all the sand it sure was nice to have a washer and dryer. Due to the size of the unit I felt it was a great value. The unit has 2 big stone showers as well as 24 hour security. Not to mention theres an Expedia activities desk right on property. So any activities you want to do while on the island of Maui can be booked right from the property. There is complimentary coffee every morning at the pool and Maui Coffee is definitely some of the best coffee around. I looked for rental condos in Lahaina for a long time before I found this condo. This condo is family friendly as well as a single persons or travlers delight with the location. You could walk pretty much everywhere from here, like to Foodland, the Lahaina Harbor, whatever you want is at your finger tips. Downtown Lahaina has allot to offer. When I looked at condos for rent in Lahaina, typically pricing was anout 400-700 a night then I found this hidden gem priced at an affordable 199 a night. ( From what I gathered it ranges from 149-249) a night. Don't get me wrong as perfect as this place is there are a few things I'd want to tell you about this condo -- parking is 15 bux a night. I guess in today's day and age that's not to bad but there is free on the street parking and a bus system that you can get around to just about any point on the island for $2. As far as condo's go, this was more beautiful then most of the ones I've seen and the location speeks for it all. So as far as this condo gets two thumbs up from me! Irish Pub in Kirkland, WA
I found a great Irish pub in Kirkland, WA called the Wilde Rover. What makes this Irish pub so great is the atmosphere. It has a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Also amazing views of lake WA , from it's outdoor balcony It has amazing Irish food. It has everything from lamb stew and coned-beef to old fashioned hamburgers. It's not very expensive and very yummy. I think the biggest appeal to the Irish pub is the staff. They have the most amazing bartenders out of any bar I've ever been to.( However if you go there on a Sunday night after 9pm expect a bit of a wait to get served. They have live bands seval nights a week Sunday included and it tends to get pretty hectic sometimes so just be warned!! ) Their staff is there to joke around with you or lend an ear if you need to talk. Going to Wild Rover is like walking into a family reunion.
Like "Cheers" everyone knows your name. They'll greet you and seat you quicky and they tend to your every need. You get a true small town feel. You not only have great food drinks and music it's so nice to walk into a Irish pub that's so clean. This isn't the place you walk into and are repulced by dirtyness or broken glass on the floor. Bathrooms always seem to have toilet paper and are big enough to accomidate a pretty good size crowd. I think the other unique thing this pub has to offer is it wears many faces. From live bands several nights a week which tend to attract an older crowd, to Dj's Saturday nights wich bring in a younger crowd. There are several rooms, pool tables, banquet rooms etc. This Irish pub is truly a Kirkland. WA gem and has something for everyone!!
