I feel very strongly that designations are extremely helpful within your real estate career. Not only do they help you stand out within the sometimes daunting array of others in the business, but they also help showcase you to the world as an expert. One of the main keys is to try to pursue ones that are accredited, CE approved as well as are recoginzed and acknowledged within the industry.
I think that it is safe to say that within most of the common professionals that we encounter we all know what it means when we see abbreviated words such as: Susan Jones, MD or Michael Smith PhD. As we all know back here on the real estate sales side most members of the general public simple don't know what it means when they see any abbreviated words of any type after a real estate professionals name. Whether this special designation be an ABR, an e-Pro designation or even a REO & BPO Specialist, etc.
The good thing is that within our own special niche within the foreclosure and REO/BPO side of real estate, there are some very excellent designations that would be worth checking out. On the top of my list for REO designations is to go through a leader in the REO training industy. The company is named NFSTI (National Foreclosure Sales Training Institute).
NFSTI is in fact putting on REO training classes throughout the U.S. this year. After taking the two day course you will be eligible to take their online certification class. Once you pass you will be able to add a profile within their website that asset managers, recruiters and many others can see your information. This is great exposure to have. You will also be able to adverstise the fact that you are NFSTI Certified. This alone can set you apart from others in our business and help you gain the upper hand when someone is looking to place REO's and/or BPO's.

I'm writing you today to announce some very exciting changes that are occurring with Nicolesdreams eBooks. As some of you may know I have recently been approved through the real estate board to be a certified real estate instructor here in Washington. I have been working diligently on putting together a class on BPO's, then I will follow it up by another course on Using Automation Software to Automate Your BPO and REO Business. Once the courses gets approved, you will be able to take the BPO and Automation courses I offer online and also get CE credit towards your license renewal! This project is still in the works, but I am hopeful that we will soon get the go-ahead very soon for this exciting new development!
I also wanted to make an exciting annoucement that I have added a personal assistant to my growing team, Eileen Bauer. She is a true dynamo! Eileen is handling phone calls, appointments and other administrative duties for me as my business expands. I couldn't resist writing this blog because I wanted to give another insight that many people have wondered about, but not known for sure is going on. Many people are experiencing this phenomena as well, It all starts when someone gets an email notification that a new order is available. When they race to log into their account to snag the order it is no longer there. As they sit feeling dazed and perplexed at the whole ordeal, someone else is smiling somewhere because they used automation software to auto-accept that order for them and thus beat you out!
In many phone conversations I have with other BPO and REO Agents that are scattered all over of the U.S., they ask me the same question. I've tell them exactly why this happens and many are not surprised by what I tell them but a little in shock.
Here is what I tell them. The reason that people are missing orders with companies like Mark2Market, LandAm, Clear Capital, Proteck, Mainstreet and many others is because someone has Automation Software set up that Auto-Accepts the order for them.
I use a phenomenal automation software called iMacros. In fact, I am a direct consultant and reseller of it as well. Plus, I wrote a popular 'how to' tutorial based manual on how to use the automation software to do almost all of the data entry side of my BPO and REO orders.
I, use iMacros to automate between 80-95% of the data entry for each of my own BPO and REO orders. It has been able to cut down the total time it takes me to do a BPO order at least in half, many times it helps even more. Plus, I also use it to Auto-Accept orders too!
