If I had a dollar for every time I have been asked this question I would actually have a nice little side income these days. I have attended seminars, read the papers, listened to the news and at the end of the day I have come to one conclusion "No one really knows!" I walked out of one such seminar with the financial guru of NAR and the only thing I heard were a bunch of words with no real meaning or message for the matter....he might as well have been speaking another language.
I am seeing homes sales but there is no pattern or ryhme or reason to them. Can someone tell me where all the money went to help stabilze the housing market and once again make money available so people can actually buy? Then there are the new FHA guidelines of the 3.5% down versus the 3%, higher MIP and so forth....this is to help people buy homes how?
How about regulating who and how people become agents and brokers? That was the main problem, greed and ignorance which got us into this whole mess. Now us old timers have to sit in the rubble and somehow help restore the publics faith and trust into our professions.
I would love to hear on any other opinion the help me better answer the question, "are we at the bottom yet"? Thanks All!!!
