As a broker for over 30 years, i have spent many hours in seminars on how to brand myself and company.

about 10 years ago i began marketing town websites through a domain called www.homesinyourtown.com

first i created website for every town in my area and began marketing the sites.the site traffic continued to grow every year.

then about 5 years ago i began to feature agents on the town pages and noticed the traffic and leads began to fall, first i thought because market had slowed, but after researching we found that consumers would rather go to site that was not a real estate company site!!
